It is really not worth sacrificing any of Xender’s functionality for some unnecessary bells and whistles. If you are looking for a file sharing application then go for Xender. In short, it does what it says on the tin. People want what Xender has: a simple and easy-to-use interface which is completely intuitive. Plus, who really cares about having graphics of radars scanning for devices or satisfying representations of them when they are connected? That is a slim area to focus on at best. The result is a nice, clean design which works for everyone. The program is actually not-so-simple but they’ve made it look easy and effortless, without going too overboard on the aesthetics.

The program is a mere 4.5 MB after the latest update which makes downloading it a breeze. It has just compacted the best of file sharing potential into the greatest range of operating systems with multiple connections available. Xender may seem simple compared to the other apps. While it is true that there are many apps using local wireless connection to transfer files, if you dig a little deeper it is possible to distinguish between them. From the outside it can be hard to choose between the apps: they all seem to be doing the same thing!

Shareit, Superbeam and Portal are just a few examples of other extremely popular apps in the space. There’s a lot of competition harnessing this file sharing technology.
